Jordache Construction was founded in 1991 by Michael Jordache, a civil engineer with over 15 years of experience of working for leading construction and real estate development firms including Ellis Don, Bramalea and Humboldt Properties.

Michael's vision for Jordache Construction has remained constant over its 20 years to offer clients the highest level of value through the combination of big company capabilities (construction advisory services, robust cost analysis, thorough project management) with a small company approach (personal service, responsiveness, attention to detail).

Michael's professional career began with large scale public sector work in his native Romania (hospital and university campus construction). Moving to Canada in the early 1980s, he worked for Bramalea, Ellis Don and Humbold Properties as project manager on assignments ranging from $1,500,000 commercial renovations up to the construction of GM's new truck assembly plant in Oshawa (for which the Phase 1 contract value was in excess of $100,000,000). He broadened his experience to include public sector work in the late 1980s when he joined Milne and Nichols as project manager for the highly acclaimed $6mn extension to the Ontario Science Centre.

Michael's reputation for quality work, attention to detail, and effective relationships provided the basis for the establishment of his own business, focused on providing the highest level of value for commercial, industrial and public sector assignments with a contract value in the $500,000 to $3,000,000 range. Jordache Construction Group is able to offer the level of sophistication that these assignments require but without the overhead costs of a large firm.
